In the post-pandemic period, inflation has risen in many countries under the influence of measures taken to sustain economic activity. In the light of the ongoing geopolitical events, the continuing rise in prices in the world has led to an increase in consumer prices in Kyrgyzstan by 14.3 percent in April 2022.
The economy of Kyrgyzstan increased by 4.5 percent in January-March 2022 (excluding enterprises for the development of the Kumtor deposit - 3.8 percent). The highest rates were noted in the industrial and agricultural sectors.
