Baku, Azerbaijan, June 22. Kyrgyzstan increased volume of cotton exports to Turkiye from January through April 2022, Trend reports via National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Committee, Kyrgyzstan's cotton exports to Turkiye in the reporting period reached $20.5 million, doubled compared to $11.6 million in the same period of 2021.
The total value of Kyrgyzstan's exports to Turkiye in the first four months of this year amounted to $55.6 million, which is twice more compared to the same period of last year ($25.2 million).
Meanwhile, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye from January through April 2022 amounted to $206.9 million, which is 78.8 percent more than the same period in 2021 ($115.7 million).
