BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. The Board of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has decided to lower the base rate, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.

Taking into account the development conditions of the external and internal economic environment, the National Bank on November 28, 2022, reduced the base rate to 13 percent.

Earlier, on October 31, 2022, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan made a decision to keep the base rate at the level of 14 percent.

"The National Bank monitors the evolving situation on an ongoing basis and, if necessary, will use additional tools and take appropriate measures to achieve the goal of ensuring price stability in the medium term," the bank said.

Meanwhile, the next meeting of the Board of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan regarding the base rate, will be held on January 30, 2023.
