Tajikistan is expanding horizons of cooperation with EU countries and intends to expand trade and economic relations with Baltic States, reported CA-NEWS.
This February Emomali Rahmon will pay an official visit to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, and will participate in the European Commission meeting in Brussels. This will be the first visit of the President to Baltic countries.
On 8 - 9 February Rahmon will visit Latvia and hold talks with Valdis Zatlers, the President of the republic. Then the President will visit Brussels and return to Baltic region to visit Estonia and Lithuania.
Expansion of trade and economic relations will be the main discussion issue during the president's visits. Signing of documents is expected upon completion of visits," informed the President's press service.
