BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. Tajikistan has signed several multi-million cooperation agreements with German and EU companies, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
Tajikistan's delegation, headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Davlatali Said, visited Germany's Berlin, Hamburg, and Lubeck on November 21-25, 2022, to hold intergovernmental negotiations and participate in the Tajikistan-Germany business forum.
Within this forum, the Tajik side has signed agreements and memorandums worth more than 600 million euros with German and European companies on cooperation in the field of industry, processing of minerals and the introduction of modern technologies to create new manufacturing enterprises.
As the Ministry notes, the delegation presented economic and commercial, hydropower, logistics, investment, and tourism opportunities of the country. Entrepreneurs were provided with necessary information about the investment climate in Tajikistan, projects, business support measures, as well as the benefits offered by the Government of Tajikistan.
Notably, Tajikistan - Germany business forum was held in Hamburg with the participation of more than 65 influential German and European companies.
