BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $90.9 million last week, Trend reports citing Orient news.

Entrepreneurs from the UAE purchased on the exchange urea brand "B" ($357.5 per ton) in the amount of 250,000 tons for a total of $89.3 million.

Russian businessmen bought terry products worth more than $350,000 on the stock exchange, and representatives of the business circles of Kyrgyzstan and the UAE purchased harsh cotton yarn worth $663,300.

A total of 9 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
