BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 13. Turkmenistan's foreign trade turnover increased by 39 percent from January through July 2022 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, during the reporting period, production in Turkmenistan increased by 11.5 percent compared to January through July 2021 period, and retail trade turnover has grown by 10.4 percent.
The meeting summed up the results of the government's work in the economic sphere for 7 months of 2022, assessed the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers, identified priority tasks for the social and economic development of Turkmenistan, and considered a number of other issues.
