BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 17. American international industrial service company Baker Hughes actively cooperates with Turkmenistan in the field of oil and gas exploration, a source in the Baker Hughes told Trend.
"Baker Hughes’s Oilfield Services has been a strong presence in Turkmenistan since 2019. At the moment, we are cooperating with the largest operators in the field of oil and gas exploration both onshore and offshore in the Caspian Sea, providing our technologies in a safe and environmentally friendly way," said the source.
Meanwhile, the company's activity has increased significantly since coming to Turkmenistan, along with the increased demand for energy in the current post-pandemic and geopolitical situation.
"Due to the international oil and gas conference to be held on October 26-27 in Turkmenistan, we have one of the few opportunities to meet with all operators and state-owned companies at once. This gives a significant insight into the development of the country's resources, supported by new infrastructures, which allows companies like ours to calibrate their investments," Baker Hughes said.
