BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. State-owned enterprises of the Mary region of Turkmenistan from January through March 2023 increased the manufacturing of industrial products by 13.9 percent compared to the first quarter of last year, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by the head of the Mary region Dovranberdi Annaberdiev at a government meeting held on April 15.
According to him, as part of the implementation of the rural national program in the region, the construction of social and engineering facilities continues, and the capitalization plan is being implemented.
Furthermore, during the meeting, Annaberdiev noted that this year it is planned to sow cotton on 162,000 hectares of land in the Mary region, and the necessary work is being carried out to complete this season on time.
Due to the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy.
