BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. Wheat harvest has begun in Turkmenistan in the Balkan and Dashoguz regions, Trend reports.
According to official data, it is planned to harvest 1.4 million tons of wheat from an area of 690,000 hectares in Turkmenistan this year.
In order to spend every day of the harvest productively, combine harvesters have already been brought to the fields of the regions.
For their continuous operation, the work of repair and service centers was expanded, and spare parts, fuel, and oil for cars were allocated in sufficient quantities.
Meanwhile, according to the order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, wheat harvest started on June 2 in the Ahal, Lebap, and Mary regions.
