ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 5. Türkiye's trade turnover with Turkmenistan reached $2.25 billion, from January through October 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), the data for the mentioned period indicates a 38-percent increase compared to the corresponding months of the previous year, which stood at $1.63 billion.
Turkmenistan's exports to Türkiye from January through October of this year totaled $1.51 billion, marking a twofold increase compared to the corresponding period in 2022, which amounted to $734.12 million.
At the same time, during the reporting period, Türkiye experienced an almost 17.2-percent decline in exports to Turkmenistan compared to the same period in 2022, falling from $899.55 million to $745.04 million.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Türkiye and Turkmenistan in 2022 reached $2.06 billion, reflecting a 21.8 percent increase compared to 2021 when it was $1.69 billion.
