British Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff (Logistics Operations), Air Vice-Marshal Graham Howard discussed the bilateral cooperation issues at the Foreign Ministry and Defence Ministry within the visit, the British Embassy said today.

According to the embassy, the visit was organized by the Uzbek Defense Ministry within the current bilateral Uzbek-British military cooperation and forthcoming withdrawal of ISAF military personnel and equipment from Afghanistan through Uzbekistan.

Howard also visited the Uzbek Military Academy and city of Termez, located near the Uzbek-Afghan border, the embassy said.

The program included monitoring the practical exercises in the mountainous area, visiting the Central Military Hospital in Tashkent and the State Museum of the Uzbek Armed Forces.
