Uzbekistan has exported silk and silk products to 17 countries in the amount of $67.6 million from January through November of 2021, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Export of silk and silk products increased by $25 million compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
During this period, most of the silk and silk products were exported to China in the amount of $33 million.
The main countries that imported silk and silk products from Uzbekistan in 11 months of 2021 were: Kyrgyzstan ($9.2 million), Tajikistan ($8.2 million), Vietnam ($6.7 million), Iran ($5.9 million), UAE ($1.7 million),India ($1.2 million),South Korea ($791,000), Afghanistan ($340,000), Turkmenistan ($265,000), Turkey ($131,000), Pakistan ($66,000), Russia ($17,000), France ($4,200).
