Uzbekistan has exported silk and silk products in amount of $87.5 million in 2021, which is an increase of $12.4 million compared to 2020,Trend report citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
In 2021, the country exported silk and silk products to 18 foreign countries.
During this period, the main importer of Uzbek silk products was China ($38 million). The least of the silk products were exported to France ($4,200).
