Uzbekistan has imported cars worth more than $65 million in January 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, 3,037 cars were imported from 12 foreign countries in amount of $65.7 million.
The volume of imports increased 14 times compared to the same period last year. In January 2021, 218 passenger cars were imported.
According to statistics, most cars are imported from China, Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland and the United States.
Uzbekistan has produced 14,046 cars in January 2022. The volume of production of cars increased by 8,811 units compared to the corresponding period last year.
