BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. Uzbekneftegaz JSC put into operation new gas pipeline with a length of 4.9 km and a diameter of 168 mm at the West Tegirmon field (country’s Bukhara region), Trend reports via the company’s statement.
As a result of the installation of the pipeline, it became possible to transport natural gas produced from wells at the field through the Tegimon-Somontepa gas pipeline to the Somontepa primary gas treatment plant.
The West Tegirmon gas condensate field is located in the Alat district of the Bukhara region and was put into operation in 2019.
Previously, Uzbekneftegaz JSC put into operation new gas pipelines with a length of 1.7 km and a diameter of 273x8 mm at the Severny Berdak field (country’s Muynak region).
As a result of the commissioning of these gas pipelines, a decrease in pressure drops and resistances in the existing gas pipelines at the field, as well as an increase in the daily additional production of natural gas was achieved.
