BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. The number of enterprises with foreign capital in Uzbekistan has increased in 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to statistics, as of January 1, 2023, the number of companies having foreign capital operating in Uzbekistan stood at 15,801, increasing by 2,512 enterprises year-on-year.
Furthermore, foreign investments in Uzbekistan are mostly directed to companies in sectors such as trade, industry, construction, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, as well as to the field of accommodation and catering services, to the field of information and communication, to the field of transportation and storage, and in healthcare and social services.
