Polish agricultural machinery producer eyes localizing in Uzbekistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 26. Pronar Sp. z o.o., a Polish agricultural machinery manufacturer, has agreed to sign a roadmap for cooperation development with the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Trend reports.

The matter was discussed at the online meeting between Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Umid Mamadaminov and Pronar Chairman of Board Sergiusz Martyniuk, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland.

The objective of the negotiations was to discuss matters regarding the establishment of investment collaboration, specifically focusing on setting up agricultural machinery production in Uzbekistan with a gradual localization target of 30-40 percent annually.

The Uzbek delegation was invited to Poland to gain insights into the company's production capabilities and areas of operation.

Furthermore, both parties agreed to work together on various joint projects.

Earlier this year, the sides have held the first round of talks in regard with establishing successful cooperation in the agriculture sector. The sides discussed the prospects of creating a joint investment project for boosting agricultural machinery production in Uzbekistan.
