TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, March 20. Uzbekistan's key enterprises produced 6,100 tons of oil bitumen in January 2024, Trend reports.
According to Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, the volume of
manufacturing grew by 12.8 percent year over year.
Meanwhile, key industries in Uzbekistan produced 770,100 tons of
oil between January and December 2023.
As to the Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, production volume
declined by 17,700 tons year on year (to 787,800 tons).
Hence, key enterprises' output accounted for 97.7 percent of total
oil output year after year.
Furthermore, Uzbekistan's Fergana Oil Refinery has undertaken a
large-scale initiative to increase the quality of base oils
produced. The program includes modernizing the atmospheric-vacuum
column as well as repairing industrial equipment that produce
mineral base oils.
The program's purpose is to improve the physical and chemical
properties of the oils so that they match the highest European
requirements.
