Baku, Azerbaijan, May 19
By Umid Niayesh - Trend:
Iran has exported over $7.7 billion worth of none-oil goods (including condensates) from the beginning of the current Iranian fiscal year (March 21), Masoud Karbasian, director of the Islamic Republic Customs Administration said.
The figure indicates a fall by seven percent compared to the same period of the preceding year, Karbasian said, Iran's Mehr news agency reported May 19.
He further said that the value of Iran's imports stood at $5.5 billion during the two-month period, 25 percent less year on year.
The fall in Iran's import and export values is mainly due to decrease of oil products' price, Karbasian said.
For instance condensates price decrease is the main factor behind the fall of the country's exports in terms of value, he explained.
