The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 10:
Export floor: Offers 39,200 tons bitumen, insulation and sulfur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 106,292 tons of chemicals, bitumen, vacuum bottom feed stock and sulfur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 300 tons of aluminium billets, 1,000 tons of 1000lb aluminium ingots, and 5 kilograms of gold bullion.
Agriculture floor: Offers 70,000 day-old chickens, 21,000 tons of wheat, 5,500 tons of sugar, 12,800 tons of crude vegetable oil, 5,388 tons of corn, and 170 tons of large lentil.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 600 tons of palm oil from Malaysia and 20 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium, as well as 2,000 tons of phosphate concentrates.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
