One thousand hectares of land have been selected and a 500 megawatt solar power plant will soon be built in Iran’s Qom province, ISNA news agency cited Mehdi Sadeghi, governor of Qom province, as saying.
He added that investments are required for alternative and renewable energy sources.
Sadeghi added that Iran calls for investors to participate in the creation of the potential for the production of alternative and renewable energy sources in Qom province.
This sphere should also be supported in a legitimate way, he added.
