Iran's Aran and Bidgol county in Isfahan province exported goods to a number of European, Asian and African countries in the first three months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), an official with Aran and Bidgol Industry, Mine and Trade Organization Mojtaba Mahlouji said, Trend reports via IRNA.
According to him, Aran and Bidgol mainly exported goods to Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, the UAE, Iraq, Qatar, Georgia, China, Germany, Japan, Pakistan, Belarus, Russia and Austria.
In the first three months of the current Iranian year, the county exported carpets and reinforced bars worth $25.6 million, the official said. More precisely, the county earned $11.8 million from exports of reinforced bars and $13.7 million from carpet exports, he added.
There are 700 industrial carpet factories in the county, Mahlouji said adding that over 50 percent of Iran's industrial carpet production is carried out in this county.
In the last Iranian year (March 21, 2018-March 20, 2019), Aran and Bidgol exported goods for a total of $125.7 million.
