Georgian Governor and Russian General Patrol Gori

Georgia, Tbilisi, 15 August / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Kakha Lomaya, Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia, stated to journalists that quiet night have been observed in Gori.

"We patrolled the territory all the night long with Governor Shida Kartli and Russian general, who commands militaries in Gori," Lomaya said.

The Russian occupation militaries still stay in Gori. Tanks and armaments are deployed in city. Georgian police cannot control the region.

According to Lomaya, the key problem is to feed and provide security to people. "We have already rendered humanitarian aid to the city, and today, we will render another humanitarian aid again," Lomaya said.

Russia militaries occupied Zugdidi, Senaki and Poti including Samegrelo.
