The natural gas supply to Adjara has been resumed after a three-day break.
The gas transportation company began liquidating operations at the crash site on Sunday, but were delayed because of the weather, the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation told Trend on Thursday.
As a result of torrential rains in western Georgia on August 4, the 44th kilometre section of the Kobuleti's branch on the Kutaisi-Sukhumi gas pipeline was damaged. Gas supply to Adjara was interrupted.
It was possible to restore the pipeline and resume gas supplies to the Autonomous Republic yesterday night, the corporation said.
