Georgia imported 160,000 tons of marine fuel from Turkey in September 2021, which is a decrease of 13.5 percent, compared to 185,000 tons in the same month of 2020, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
The same figure also decreased by 68.6 percent, compared to 510,000 tons of marine fuel in January 2021.
The largest volume of marine fuel was exported to Georgia in March 2021 and totaled 835,000, which is 3.4 percent less than in the same period of 2020 (864,500 tons).
However, the index of March 2021 increased by 24.6 percent, compared to 670,000 tons in February 2021.
Turkey’s marine fuel exports to Georgia from January through September 2021 amounted to 3 million tons.
Meanwhile, the volume exported to Georgia over the first 9 months of 2021 slightly decreased, compared to 3.1 million tons over the same period of 2020.
