BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 4. The accession process for Georgia to the European Union (EU) has been suspended, Trend reports, citing foreign media.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze previously declared that his country intended to join the EU by 2030. He had emphasized that the conditions outlined in the association agenda and nine priorities were set to be fulfilled.
"By 2030, Georgia will be the most prepared among candidate countries for full EU membership," Kobakhidze then added.
