Emir Sabah al-Ahmad of Kuwait has accepted the resignation of his Cabinet, which had to step down under pressure from the opposition which accused it of mismanagement and involvement in corruption.

Emir Sabah al-Ahmad of Kuwait has accepted the resignation of his Cabinet, which had to step down under pressure from the opposition which accused it of mismanagement and involvement in corruption.

Earlier this year, Kuwait's Finance and Labour Ministers were forced to relinquish their posts, The Voice of Russia reported.

Kuwait's Parliament is controlled by the opposition, while its latest Cabinet was dominated by appointees of the ruling Al-Sabah clan.
