Amid chants of "God is Great," Hezbollah chief Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah made a rare live appearance in front of a massive crowd in Beirut's southern suburbs protesting a US-made film which mocked Islam's prophet Mohammed, DPA reported.

"The US should understand that if it broadcast the film in full it will face very dangerous repercussions around the world," he warned, in his first appearance in front of a crowd since December 2011.

"We are here to denounce such a film and to announce that we will continue our demonstrations until this movie is removed from the internet," said Nasrallah on stage, addressing thousands of people.
