(dpa) - The Palestinian Authority condemned Monday a suicide attack in the Israeli town of Dimona, as well as an Israeli incursion into the northern West Bank in the early morning.

A PA statement said it condemned attacks against civilians.

A Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up Dimona's shopping centre in the mid-morning, and a second attacker was shot dead before he could detonate his explosive device. One Israeli woman was killed in the blast, and 11 people were injured.

The Israeli raid into Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, killed two members, and injured a third, of the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad organization.
