Seven people were killed and dozens injured on Monday when a passenger train slammed into a bus in Indonesia's East Java province. dpa reported.
The bus was passing a level crossing in Kediri district when it was hit by the train, the state Antara news agency reported.
It appeared the bus driver could not see the the crossing's barrier being lowered because of heavy rain, Antara said.
Deadly accidents at level crossings are common in Indonesia, where public bus drivers are notorious for being reckless and many motorists ignore traffic signals.
