At least seven people were killed and 17 wounded in attack on a bus heading from Sohag province to Coptic Christian monastery in upper Egypt city of Minya, the Archbishop of Sohag told Xinhua on Friday.
"Unknown masked military men opened fire on the bus in route to Samuel monastery," he added.
No group yet declared responsibility for the attack.
Last year in the same place, 28 Copts were killed in a similar attack.
