The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media of Russia decided to block the social network Facebook as a response to the blocking of Russian media accounts, Trend reports citing regulator's press service.
It is emphasized that on March 4, 2022, the Federal Service decided to block access to the Facebook network (owned by Meta Platforms, Inc.) in the Russian Federation.
Regulator reports that since October 2020, 26 cases of discrimination against Russian media and information resources by Facebook have been recorded.
