In order to establish stability in the Caucasus and the region, cooperation of region countries, including Iran, is necessary, Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the Turkish-Iranian Business Forum in Tehran, TRT 2 television reported.  

"For the stability and reconciliation in the Caucasus, we should cooperate with Iran, said Erdogan, who is on an official visit to Iran. - Stability in the Caucasus is interesting both for Turkey and Iran. Therefore, these problems should be solved through cooperation between region countries."

On Oct. 27, Erdogan arrived in Tehran with the Turkish delegation of 100 economists. Prior to the visit, Turkish Prime Minister said in an interview with the Guardian newspaper that there are brotherly relations between Turkey and Iran.

Trade turnover between the two countries amounts to $13 billion. This figure will increase to $20 billion. Iran exports 10 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey per year.
