Iran and Turkey are partners in the region and there is no hidden war between the countries, said Turkey Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Haberturk channel transmitted on Saturday.
"The Turkish-Iranian relations are a partnership and the competition in some ways. It is a normal relationship of neighboring countries" Davutoglu said.
Davutoglu also stressed that the relations between the two countries should not be considered in the light of the conflict between Sunnis and Shiites.
According toDavutoglu, the sides discussed all regional problems during his visit to Iran.
The two-day visit of Turkish Foreign Minister to Iran took place on January 4-5. Davutoglu discussed bilateral, regional and international issues with Iranian officials. Among the latter - the situation in Syria and Iraq, and Iran's nuclear program.
