Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have agreed to hold the High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council in Russia Dec.15.

The presidents reached the agreement on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Antalya, Turkey, RIA Novosti reported.

The meeting between the two leaders was held behind closed doors at the Regnum hotel in the resort town of Belek, and lasted for about an hour.

The meeting was also attended by Russian and Turkish foreign ministers Sergei Lavrov, Feridun Sinirlioglu, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Ali Riza Alaboyun and head of Turkey's National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan.
