The Dardanelles strait is closed for vessel traffic, the Turkish media reported Feb. 1.
Reportedly, the reason for the closure was thick fog.
Visibility in the strait decreased to 30 meters due to the fog, according to the reports.
The date of opening of the strait for vessel traffic has not been revealed.
