The value of hazelnut exports from Turkey to the international markets decreased by 1 percent from January through April 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $742.8 million, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey told Trend.
In April 2021, Turkey exported hazelnuts worth over $166.3 million, which is 15.4 percent less compared to April 2020, the ministry said.
Over the past 12 months (from April 2020 through April 2021), Turkey’s exports of hazelnuts abroad totaled over $1.99 billion.
