Turkey’s export of jewelry to international markets has grown in the past five months of 2021, Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend on June 7.
According to the ministry, this indicator rose by 47.2 percent compared to the same period of 2020, making up over $1.8 billion.
In May this year, Turkey exported jewelry worth over $490.4 million abroad, which is 112 percent more than in the same month of last year.
During the last twelve months, from May 2020 through May 2021, the country exported jewelry exceeding $4.3 billion, added the ministry.
