The amount of furniture and timber exports from Turkey from January through September 2021 increased by 26.3 percent compared to the same period last year and reached $4.9 billion, Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on October 5.
According to the ministry, during the reporting period, Turkey exported furniture and timber worth $657.7 million, which is 28 percent more than during the same reporting period last year.
In addition, over the past 12 months (September 2020 - September 2021), Turkish exports of these products amounted to $6.6 billion.
