BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. Turkish ports received 122 cruise ships in June 2022, Turkish Ministry of Transport told Trend.
According to ministry, 90,960 passengers arrived in Turkish ports on cruise ships in June 2022.
"Some 2,954 passengers arrived in Türkiye on cruise ships in June 2022. A number of 5,075 passengers departed Türkiye on these ships. Transit passenger transportation by sea in Türkiye amounted to 82,931 people in June 2022," ministry said.
Ministry noted that Turkish ports received 317 cruise ships from January through June 2022. There were 205,642 passengers on board these vessels.
Ministry said that 7,454 passengers arrived in Türkiye on cruise ships from January through June 2022, and 11,580 departed. Transit passenger transportation by sea in Türkiye amounted to 186,608 people during the specified period," ministry added.
