The voting process in Turkmenistan's parliamentary elections at polling station No.1 at Turkmenistan's embassy in Azerbaijan, where Turkmen citizens temporarily residing in Azerbaijan participated, has been completed, according to a press release from the Turkmen embassy in Azerbaijan published on Dec.15.

As of 15:30 (Baku time), all the registered voters fulfilled their constitutional rights and voted in the elections.

Heads of diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan - ambassadors of China, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Tajikistan and the head of TRACECA programme arrived to become familiar with the process of electing Turkmen MPs at the polling station in Turkmenistan's embassy in Azerbaijan.

The visitors highly appreciated the fact that all stages of the pre-election campaign are well organised and comply with the requirements of national legislation and international norms to the highest democratic standards.

The voting process was covered by representatives of local and international media outlets.
