According to the TV channel, the news about Ibrahim's arrest is rumors aimed at diverting attention from the crimes committed against citizens of the country.

On Thursday, the Libyan Transitional National Council announced about the arrest of official representative of Muammar Gaddafi's regime Moussa Ibrahim in a suburb of Sirte.

It was reported that Ibrahim was captured by rebels when he tried to hide in a crowd of refugees to leave the besieged city.
