Turkey and the European Union reached a consensus yesterday to abolish visa regime, the Sabah newspaper reported.
It is expected that today a memorandum of understanding will be signed between Turkey and the EU on abolishment of visa regime in Brussels. From the Turkish side the memorandum will be signed by Turkey's Permanent Representative to the EU, Selim Yener.
Fulfillment of the agreement will allow the Turkish citizens to visit EU countries without visas after five or six months.
