A meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States is planned to be held on May 31 in President Hotel in Minsk, 'Voice of Russia' reported.
It is assumed that the meeting will be attended by prime ministers of six countries: Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia and Tajikistan, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus reported.
It is expected that the delegation of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan will be headed by first deputy premiers. Moldova will be represented the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry noted.
According to the Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich, the heads of delegations participating in the meeting will be received by the President Alexander Lukashenko.
The Council of Heads of Government is going to consider over 30 issues related to the cooperation of the Commonwealth countries in economic, humanitarian, security, education and innovation fields.
It is assumed that the Council of Heads of Government will approve the protocol on accession of Uzbekistan to the Agreement on free trade zone within the CIS.
