The transport sector's problems will be settled in a timely manner prior to the start of the First European Games 2015 in Baku, Azerbaijani Deputy Transport Minister Musa Panahov told reporters Sept. 17.
He said the program of activities, which will be carried out as part of the Games, is large and covers a wide range of issues.
These activities include the reconstruction of transport infrastructure, the creation of parking lots near the sports facilities, and addressing the public transport issue in these areas.
The program also envisages the creation of parking lots on Baku's outskirts for vehicles coming from the country's regions.
The First European Games will be held in Baku on June 12-28, 2015.
