Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 July/ Trend / The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev offered his condolences to the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko in connection with of high death toll caused by the natural calamity in the west of Ukraine.
The Head of State presented his condolence to relatives of the dead and injured.
The flood in the west of Ukraine claimed the lives of 26 people with five of them being children and tens of missing. About 15,000 people have been evacuated from the flooded regions of Ivano-Frankov, Lvov, Zakarpat, Ternopol and Chernovitsk provinces.
