The meeting between Minister of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan Yaver Jamalov and Minister of National Defense of Turkey Vecdi Gonul focused on the prospects of cooperation in defense industry, the website of the Ministry of Defense Industry reported.
During the meeting, Jamalov informed the delegation headed by Gonul, of the activities and achievements of the ministry.
Gonul expressed gratitude for the sincere welcome. The meeting was also attended by Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic.
Turkish Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul started an official visit to Baku Tuesday. During the visit, Turkish Defense Minister has met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and Defense Minister Safar Abiyev.
