The Cultural Days of Turkmenistan, which is conducted in Azerbaijan (Nov. 3-6), are called "an important contribution to the development of fruitful cooperation between the two friendly countries," Turkmen media write on Thursday.
Exactly one year ago, the Cultural Days of Azerbaijan were conducted in Turkmenistan.
Under the current program, on Nov. 4, Baku will host the opening of Cultural Days and a gala concert of masters of arts of Turkmenistan. Over the next days, an exhibition of museum exhibits depicting the distinctive traditions and customs of the Turkmen people will be opened.
The Vatan newspaper writes that the beginning of a qualitatively new stage in the development of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani dialogue was laid during meetings at high levels.
The reciprocal visits of Heads of State, during which several important documents were signed on cooperation in various fields, the mutual desire of the parties to strengthen multi-faceted mutually beneficial dialogue was reaffirmed," the article says.
