Uzbek President Islam Karimov has refused to take part in an informal meeting of the heads of the Organization of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member-states in Astana on Aug. 12, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha said today.
"Karimov confirmed his participation in the meeting at a certain level, but he has recently refused," Bordyuzha said. "All other countries have confirmed their participation."
